About Us

We’re Nikki and Chris, a Kiwi couple recently returned from a two-year world trip. On our return to Christchurch, we found and fell in love with a beautiful tree-house in Cashmere and Sherwood Lodge was born.

After years of travelling, we’re now enjoying repaying the favours by inviting travellers into our home. We are in our late 30’s but young at heart and very well-travelled and always keen to hear about other people’s experiences and adventures.

We’ve created Sherwood Lodge to provide unique accommodation for people like us, who love New Zealand’s natural beauty. Surrounded by native trees and birds, with spectacular views across the city to the Southern Alps, Sherwood Lodge is still so close to all of the city conveniences – it’s the best of both worlds!
