Sherwood Lodge offers tranquil accommodation nestled in native bush with spectacular views of the city & mountains. Surrounded by private forest & birdsong, it offers all the peace & quiet of nature, conveniently located less than 5km from the city centre.

Once a traditional resting place for the local Ngati Mamoe & Ngai Tahu people, this remains the perfect place to relax and unwind, in a quiet, pleasant suburb overlooking the city.

Sherwood Lodge offers the choice of three large, sunny private rooms, all with new Queen-size beds and stunning views of the city. Guest accommodation is located on its own floor, with a shared bathroom, kitchen and tv room.

For larger groups, we also let out the whole guest floor as a three-bedroom suite, complete with kitchen, bathroom, tv room and private entrances.
